Artist Notes:
"Some years ago I got into gargoyles, elves, and the little people. I liked the whimsical ones rather than the more devil-like sculptures and did some drawings along that theme. When I decided to paint this great old classic car, I happened to run across my sketches and decided to combine the two image types in a great old nightclub setting, complete with a tuxedoed doorman. After completing this piece I painted a second canvas with a similar gargoyle theme. (See Gargoyles 2)"
