"In 2007, I was commissioned to create this painting as the program cover for the International Meet of the Ferrari Club of America in Corning, New York.  The painting depicts the first Ferrari actually raced in America, at Watkins Glen in 1949 -- driven by Briggs Cunningham in the Seneca Cup Race."
