Artist Notes:
"Back in my high school years, one of my wealthier friends owned a red '58 Vette Convertible. We were so jealous, but I noticed that neon lights at the local drive-in made all black cars - including Vettes - look cooler than any other color! So, in 2005 I decided to paint a dozen images of black Corvettes to commemorate those sweet days, and further make the point that black is a far better color on a Vette than red. Here is one from the series."
