Artist Notes:
"This painting is the second in a series of two images featuring gargoyles in the background setting. Some years ago I became fascinated with elves, little people and gargoyles and did some drawings that I socked away in a closet. I happened to dig them out at the time I decided to paint two relatively similar classic automobiles, and this is one of the results. I like the idea of hideous sculptures leering down at guests from entrance gate pillars on some elegant estate almost as much as them greeting guests arriving at a great old nightclub.
