The dramatic start of the race for what became David Brown Racing team’s historic 1-2 Aston Martin victory!

 

Portrayed here, British driver Roy Salvadori drove the majority of the race, doing 14 hours. American Carroll Shelby brought the car home a lap ahead of Maurice Trintignant in the 2nd place Aston Martin in a formation finish.
