Soffio di Satana (Breath of Satan)
Hand-embellished editions: Federico personally paints over areas of each print to enhance colors and add brush strokes. This gives the canvas more texture and makes it look more like an original painting.
Artist Notes:
"The famous Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B leading the 1938 24 Hours Le Mans. Co-drivers Clemente Biondetti (Italy) and Raymond Sommer (France) outclassed their opponents but were held up in the closing stages by a blown tire. Sommer managed to get the car back to the pits and Biondetti took off again. Having put an amazing 100 miles between him and his nearest rival, a broken valve put him out of the race after 219 laps. (Sommer had achieved the fastest lap of the race at 5:13.8 -- 96.2 mph.) The car body was designed and built by Carrozzeria Touring, who specialized in aerodynamic superlight bodies."
